A Common Love of the Water

Established in 1938, Southampton Yacht Club is positioned on a tributary off Shinnecock Bay, with an incredible and pristine view of the undeveloped shore of the Shinnecock Reservation.

SYC is a participatory club with racing, social, cruising, and other sailing related activities which appeal to sailors of different skills, experience, and interests. The Club promotes high quality, friendly competition, good sportsmanship and camaraderie among sailors. Additionally the Club maintains a very active junior program.

Southampton Yacht Club is a membership of sailors and boaters along with their families who share a common interest in sailing and boating. We welcome anyone with an interest in boating, regardless of knowledge, ability or boat ownership. SYC has a long tradition of providing a place for friendships to develop, power boaters to congregate, sailors to gather for leisure sails and racers to launch competitive challenges.
